Native New York is a permanent exhibit at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian in New York, open to the public in 2021.

The exhibition explores 12 places in present-day New York state. Stories of Native New Yorkers provide an expanded understanding of the region’s history and reveal that New York is—and always has been—a Native place. The exhibition is a combination of digital and tactile interaction and was designed for all visitors, with a special emphasis on the educational curriculum of local students.
